HARNESSFLEX AMPSEAL CONNECTOR BACKSHELLS AVAILABLE

Electrical systems faults in commercial vehicles are often the result of problems that can be traced back to the cable entry points of electrical connectors.  Typically, the ingress of rain water or water from high pressure wash downs cause the problem but excessive cable strain and mechanical abrasion can also be a cause of electrical failure.  Connector backshells from Harnessflex will protect vehicle electrical systems and the range includes straight and elbow external connector interfaces for use in conjunction with Ampseal connectors.

Designed to provide high integrity connections between various Ampseal connectors and Harnessflex conduit systems, straight connector interfaces are available in 2 – 12 way versions for use with 8mm -20mm conduit.  90º elbow fittings suit similar conduit sizes and are available in 2-6 way versions. 

All the fittings are designed to snap together over all types of slit and unslit conduit.
The 90º elbow fittings also allow the conduit to swivel 360º around the connector housing to prevent over-flexing of the conduit as a result of movement or vibration.
