TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF SUPPORT FOR LEYLAND TRUCKS

The capabilities of Harnessflex as an innovative, responsive and flexible manufacturer of electrical conduit systems and fittings for commercial vehicles is highlighted by this year's 20th anniversary of supplying Leyland Trucks, the UK assembly centre for DAF trucks (the Leyland factory assembles all right hand drive DAF products and all models in the successful DAF LF family – both right and left hand drive).

Harnessflex has consistently supplied Leyland Trucks with new conduit, fittings and connector solutions to meet the electrical protection needs of the company's evolving vehicle ranges that are sold throughout the world.

As a pioneer in vehicle wiring protection technology, Harnessflex originally designed conduit systems for Leyland Trucks that allowed the company to dispense with less reliable PVC harness protection.  The result was a dramatic decrease in warranty claims and the increasing adaptation of Harnessflex technology to provide electrical wiring and cable protection throughout all vehicles made at Leyland.

In the intervening years, Harnessflex has supplied the manufacturer with a wide range of customised conduit and connector solutions.  Working closely with Leyland Trucks design engineers, these have included Y-pieces and T-pieces and many other components designed to provide critical wiring protection.
